  • Buying Social: A Guide to Taking Account of Social Considerations in Public Procurement. 2011

    The purpose of this Guide is to; (a) to raise contracting authorities’ awareness of the potential benefits of SRPP and (b) to explain in a practical way the opportunities offered by the existing EU legal framework for public authorities to take into account social considerations in their public procurement. Thus, paying attention not only to price but also to the best value for money. When drafting this Guide, the Commission widely consulted public authorities in the Member States and many other interested parties and stakeholders.

  • Sustainable Procurement Guide A Practical Guide for Commonwealth Entities. 2021

    This guide provides a step-by-step guidance on how to consider sustainability in the different stages of the procurement process, from identifying the business need to the end of the contract, including review and reporting. It is designed to be sufficiently flexible for entities to apply the guidance within their own departmental frameworks and where it applies, to the Commonwealth Contracting Suite.

  • Guideline on Making Information Technology Usable by All. 2019

    The Treasury Board released the Guidelines on Making Information Technology Useable by All; it aims to facilitate the incorporation of accessible standards in the procurement procedures.
